I am Alastair, and I've been in Brisbane/Brisvegas/Brisneyland (Australia!) all my life. I live for my friends, but I also do this art thing. As a child I was inspired by my uncle, and though highschool I was surrounded by a spectrum of talent that really is my greatest motivation. But now I'm out of school, in a gap year, with plans of doing Radio in Uni for 2010.
Until then, I'll probably spend a vast majority of my time working the Fruit Shop, playing games and writing my books.
Music is my greatest non-person inspiration, but alone it's not enough.
I'm a pretty boring teenager, considering the "normalities" of the age group. I don't drive, or consume alcohol/drugs of any kind. Just because I don't do them, doesn't mean I'm against them. Everyone is entitled to choice, and I respect people for their choices so long as they respect mine, for we are all equal.

I became a deviant a while ago, after I finally relented to my sister's persistent requests that I become a member. Really, it's one of the greatest things that's ever happened to me. I have found artists, of all ages and cultures, with ideas and dreams.
And whether it's luck, fate, chance, destiny or the will of a deity, I have made friendships that will last through infinity.

sure, I will get jealous of the art around here. But that's not what art's about. It's not about skill, it's the focus on expression. The problem I find with my art is that it is conceptual, rather than having any real deeper meaning. Others may disagree. I think people find their own meaning in everything. i just try to make my art look cool xD
I truly find everything in this world to be a work of art. I've found that art, itself, is a life of creativity, beauty and vivid emotion, and holds every element of every creation.

while i should be putting my time to art and writing, i am in a huge race with my facebook friends to get high scores. i'm at a measly 77,000 after 2 hrs of play. it's graet, but there's those games where the bottom holds no combos and you just leech off the top because the game was written to always have a combo ready when new pieces come down.

i loooove tetris attack from the SNES, so it wasn't too hard to adapt.

ok now i sound like some wannabee reviewer. just play it and waste away :D
